General Information
Sheet is iron material formed into plates. It is obtained by passing thick plates between rollers, that is, by rolling. Besides the covers of various wheeled vehicles, ship hulls and many technological applications, one of the most important uses of sheet is in electrical equipment. Bundles of silicon sheets form the core of the rotor and stator windings of electric motors and of transformer windings.
