Privacy Policy

This page explains which data is processed, for what purpose and with which tools when you visit www.turgutboru.com, operated by Turgut Boru Profil Sac ("Turgut Boru", "we"). The site is a corporate and product information site; it has no user accounts, ordering or contact forms.

1. Data controller

2. What is processed

• Server access logs: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser information. Kept for security and troubleshooting, for at most 30 days.
• Google Ads measurement tag (gtag): To measure our advertising campaigns, Google's conversion tag is loaded. Clicks on WhatsApp, phone and e-mail links are reported to Google as "conversions"; no personal identifiers (name, phone, e-mail) are sent. Google may set cookies for this purpose. • Google Maps embed: The map on the contact page is served by Google; when it loads, Google may process your IP address and usage data under its own privacy policy.
• Browser local storage: Preferences such as the light/dark theme are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us.

3. Contact channels

Information you share when contacting us by WhatsApp, phone or e-mail (your name, number, request) is used only to prepare a quote and reply to you; it is not shared with third parties or used for advertising. WhatsApp messages are subject to Meta's terms, e-mails to Google Workspace's terms.

4. Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. The Google Ads tag and Google Maps may set Google cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.

5. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell, rent or pass your data to third parties for marketing. Because of Google Ads and Google Maps, data may be processed on Google LLC servers outside Türkiye. Server access logs are kept in Germany (Hetzner).

6. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, and request correction or deletion. Send requests to turgutboru@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.

7. The "Turgut Boru Ads" application (Google Ads API access)

To manage our advertising account we run an internal-only application named Turgut Boru Ads on Google Cloud. Through Google's OAuth authorization it accesses only our own Google Ads account data (campaigns, keywords, performance reports, conversion settings); it never accesses website visitors' Google account data.

• Access: OAuth consent granted explicitly by the account owner; scope limited to the Google Ads API.
• Use: Reporting, campaign maintenance (status, final URLs, keywords) and conversion settings. No other purpose.
• Sharing: Data is not shared with third parties, sold or given to data brokers, and is not used for targeted advertising, credit assessment or training AI/ML models.
• Protection: Authorization tokens are stored encrypted on a company-owned, access-restricted computer; only two company managers can access them; all communication with Google uses TLS.
• Retention and deletion: The authorization remains valid while the application is in use; the account owner can revoke it at any time from Google account permissions. On revocation stored tokens are deleted; downloaded reports are kept for at most 12 months.
